Repair Technicians
Our repair crew is the backbone of the operation. These skilled carpenters inspect damaged pallets, replace broken boards with reclaimed lumber, reinforce weakened stringers, and restore every pallet to full working condition. Each technician processes 80 to 120 pallets per shift using pneumatic nail guns, pry bars, and band saws.
Drivers & Fleet Crew
Our CDL-licensed drivers operate a fleet of flatbed trucks that run collection and delivery routes across the mid-Atlantic and beyond. They manage loading, unloading, and on-site pallet counts — and they are often the face of Universal Pallet Supply for our clients.
Warehouse & Yard Crew
Forklift operators, sorters, and yard workers keep our 5-acre Portsmouth facility organized and efficient. They receive inbound loads, sort pallets by grade and size, manage inventory staging, and ensure outbound orders are accurate and loaded correctly.
Sales & Support Team
Our sales and customer support staff handle quote requests, manage recurring accounts, coordinate delivery schedules, and solve problems. They are the point of contact for every client — from a small business ordering 50 pallets to a distribution center ordering 5,000 per month.

Our Facility in Portsmouth, VA
Our primary operations are based at 610 Brumby Ave in Portsmouth, Virginia — a 5-acre facility purpose-built for high-volume pallet processing. The yard is strategically located near the Port of Virginia, major interstate corridors (I-64, I-264, I-664), and the Hampton Roads industrial district, giving us fast access to suppliers and customers throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
The facility includes covered repair bays where our technicians work year-round regardless of weather, open-air sorting areas for inbound load processing, and a dedicated heat treatment chamber that brings pallets to ISPM-15 compliance for international shipping. Multiple loading docks accommodate simultaneous inbound and outbound truck traffic, keeping throughput high even during peak season.
Our yard is organized into clearly marked zones for each pallet grade and size, with real-time inventory tracking so we can fulfill orders quickly and accurately. On any given day, we have 50,000 or more pallets on site — sorted, graded, and ready to ship.
