What's a remanufactured pallet?

A remanufactured pallet is a pallet built with reclaimed lumber. A remanufactured pallet usually will be more economical than a new pallet and can be a good alternative to a new pallet. Also, remanufactured pallets help to reduce wood waste, which furthers recycling efforts and is good for the environment.

What's a GMA pallet?

GMA is an acronym for Grocery Manufacturers of America. GMA pallets are the most common type of pallets and are often called grocery pallets and measure 48" long by 40" wide with notched stringers to allow side as well as front entry.

What kind of lumber are pallets made from?

We classify our new pallet types into two categories: those made with pine (softwood) lumber or those made with hardwood lumber such as oak, ash, maple and hickory to name a few. Many factors can determine which type of wood is best for an application. Call us for more information.

Do you pick-up scrap pallets?

Yes, provided the pallets are located near an area we service. We generally can salvage most wood pallets and depending on size and condition, can even pay for pallets.

We buy a specialty size pallet and our process is such that we have to give very little lead time on pallet orders. Will you keep specialty size pallets in stock for us to guarantee quick deliveries?

Yes, depending on order volume we can set up a program that will meet your needs.

We currently work with a new pallet supplier and a recycler who provide new pallets and pallet repair services, respectively. Can you provide a comprehensive program to manage our pallets?

Yes. We can provide new pallets and pallet repair services. Additionally, if your customers return pallets to you or you retrieve your own pallets we can coordinate the entire pallet logistics chain to minimize both pallet handling costs and defective pallets in your production and shipping processes.

We can offer a range of pallets all suited for use with racking.

Do your pallets work in automated loading systems?
Our pallets are manufactured to tolerances which are acceptable for use in automated loading systems.

Is it OK if I need several different sizes of pallet?
We have the capability to manufacture virtually any size of pallet.

Why should I use a wooden pallet instead of a plastic pallet?
Wooden pallets are more affordable, easier to customize and easier to repair/reuse. Although plastic pallets may boast of non-infestation, fluctuations in the international price of oil from which plastic is derived and developments in wood treatments have made wooden pallets as competitive and compliant against infestation problems.

How should wooden pallets be handled?
Every pallet has a maximum weight capacity depending on the design. Always advise your pallet maker your weight requirements in order to match the pallet design. Pallets should be handled with lifts carefully in order to prevent breakage. Treated pallets, especially heat treated or kiln dried pallets, should not be exposed to external elements.
